The Wild Within at Artcore, Derby
Last week saw the culmination of almost a year of planning, hard work and collaboration with the other artists of the Fifty-One Percent collective. Our first exhibition together, The Wild Within, took place at Artcore in Derby from 23–30 October 2026.
It exceeded our expectations and was both well supported and well attended. It was also a delight to finally meet Jela Prancic and Paula Telizyn, the Canadian contingent, in person!
The four of us conceived, organised and curated the show ourselves, bringing our individual bodies of work together into an exhibition we were proud of.
Artcore provided the gallery space, and I can thoroughly recommend the organisation for its professionalism and expertise. They were a dream to work with.
Thank you to everyone who visited, brought friends, shared the exhibition or offered encouragement along the way. It meant a great deal to have that support, and to see people spending time with our work.
