This is one of those paintings that just happens. I wasn't planning the colours, they took over and I just went with it.

He's looking straight out of the canvas, and once he's on your wall he'll find you wherever you are in the room.

The reds and oranges almost feel like he's lit from within, and that deep purple around the edges just sets the whole thing off.

I called him Spirit Stag because that's what he feels like. He's not really of this world somehow.
