Silver Stag Framed Canvas

A framed, deep-edge canvas featuring my original stag artwork

I painted him during a really productive period and he is one of my favourites. There's something about the way the grasses are caught up in his antlers, like he's just been moving through the undergrowth. I wanted it to feel a bit wild and loose rather than posed.

The colours are unusual, that's kind of the point. I'm not trying to paint a photograph. I just love what happens when you let blue and gold sit next to each other and see where it goes.

 He is ready to go straight on the wall.

This print has been really popular and I can see why. There's just something about him that people connect with.
