It was such a hot summer last year, and I was enjoying finally being able to stand without the aid of sticks. In my new home-based studio I had a new freedom and it felt amazing (It still does).
This peacock painting was also receiving a makeover. He had been on the wall next to my bed for all of the months I'd been bed-bound, and I was really excited to change his colours and vibe into something soothing with more greens and cool blues. This is what's happening in this photo, a nice memory!
