Rubin | Original Horse Acrylic Painting | 50 × 50 cm
This piece is now in a private collection.
Rubin is a powerful horse portrait with a deep red coat built through successive transparent glazes. Horses have been part of my life for a long time, and I wanted the arched neck and movement in this one to feel convincing.
Painted from a reference used with the kind permission of Karen Broemmelsick.
If the subject, palette or feel of this painting appeals to you, I’m happy to discuss a commission. It would be a new painting of its own, rather than a copy of this one. Get in touch and tell me what you have in mind.

Beautiful and great quality
Absolutely beautiful canvas print with colours just as shown on the web page. The quality of the print is excellent. Even when looking at the print very closely, it's still not obvious that it is not an original. Also, the web shop was very responsive when I had questions and the delivery occurred within the promised time frame. Wonderful experience!
I'd like to add about the Air Disturbance - Owl in Flight Canvas that when placed on darker corners or walls, it almost feels like it is self-illuminating. Very special.

The most beautiful painting on canvas. Speedy ordering and delivery. Excellent customer service.

Fabulous canvas print. Looks amazing on my wall.
I asked for it to be image wrapped so the picture goes round the edges of the canvas which I prefer - just to note if others would like this - the cow’s horns don’t completely fit on the front image but it doesn’t affect how lovely the image is.
